DECKING & RAILING

Wood & Composite Decking and Railing
Wood Decking
Gui’s Lumber has both 5/4" pressure treated and 5/4" T&G porch flooring available for purchase. In addition, we stock wooden balusters and spindles.
The main advantages of wood decking are its natural beauty and warmth, lower upfront cost compared to composites, and high customization potential through staining, painting, and cutting to fit various designs. Wood is also easier to repair, as individual boards can be replaced, and some types of wood are available as eco-friendly options.
Composite Decking & Railing
We offer stock composite decking and have the capabilities of sourcing many products. The products we source are only from the finest names in the industry, as we want to make sure our customers are 100% satisfied with our products and services. These names include Trex®, MoistureShield, Fiberon, and Aeratis.
Composite decking offers benefits including low maintenance, requiring only occasional washing and no staining or sealing, and superior durability against rot, warping, splintering, and insect damage. It is also long-lasting, often outlasting traditional wood decks, and safer for families due to its splinter-free surface. Environmentally conscious consumers appreciate that composite is often made from recycled materials, and the variety of colors and finishes allows for customized aesthetics that mimic natural wood.
If you need help determining whether wood or composite decking is a better option for your project, please contact Gui’s Lumber. We’d be more than happy to help you construct the ideal deck to suit your purposes.
